OYC Americas welcomes a new member to its team
OYC Americas is pleased to introduce the newest member of its team – Kumiko Jacobs. As a Business Operations Specialist, Kumiko is responsible for managing, warehousing, distribution, purchasing, planning, and other facilities functions. Kumiko plays a very vital role to improve operational efficiency and reduce operational costs. She also contributes to enhance overall customer service & satisfaction from our customer operations center located in Vista, California.
Kumiko was born and raised in Japan. She moved to Unites States in 1989. She studied Business Administration at San Diego State University. Prior to joining OYC Americas, Kumiko worked as a Customer Service and Project Coordinator at Yamagata Americas, located in San Diego. Yamagta Americas is a subsidiary of Yamagata Corporation, Japan. At Yamagata, Kumiko was responsible for proving customer service, purchasingg raw materials, overseeing production schedule, arranging shipping, and maintaining product and service quality. Her previous experience in multicultural environment (Japanese and American) makes Kumiko a valuable asset of OYC Americas. As a Business Operations Specialist, Kumiko works closely members of OYC Americas as well as OYC Japan’s Bio and Food team. She is committed to learn our business, help it grow, and foster harmony with everyone she works with. In her free time, Kumiko likes working out, playing disc golf, and billiards.
